Joe Kirschen
Philadelphia-born Joe Kirschen is a performing and recording artist whose music connects the dots between rock, folk, Americana, interstellar and everything in between.
Hi debut release, Flashes, presents a wide spectrum of influences from the rockabilly blues opening track, "Train Song," the "Magic Bus"-inspired "So Much Love," Ramones/Pretenders-esque "Cryin' Shame" and folk/bluegrassy "Wait by the Riverside," an homage to his nearly 20 years with Philly-based Irish/Rock band The Hooligans.
The album and live band borrow from curated stable of musicians including Rob Monterosso (drums), Dom DiSpaldo (bass), Denis Manchon (guitar), Jim Bowman (drums / percussion) and Glenn Hale (keyboards).
